How high can I fill the bin?
Do not fill beyond the top edge of the bin. If the bin is overloaded it will have to be levelled before we can transport it to comply with LTSA and OSH rules and regulations
All general waste bins have a weight limit, excessive weight will be charged accordingly
Can I move the bin?
No, once placed the bin must not be moved. If moved when empty you will not be able to move back when it is full and the driver may not be able to pick up the bin again. How big should my driveway be?
The driveway should be minimum 2.9 meters wide and 4 meters clear in height. Our drivers can not determine the thickness and condition of a driveway therefore we will not responsible for any damage done as a result of your bin being delivered
I don’t have space to leave a bin on site, what should I do?
We have a “Wait and Load” service for General rubbish. The driver will deliver your bin and wait while you load it, the standard time for a “Wait and Load” service is 30 minutes. Extended time can be arranged. Prices may vary depending on your location. There is a $80 futile delivery charge if we can’t deliver it for any reason such as narrow driveway or a tree.
Is it required for me to be at the site when the bin is delivered?
It is not necessary but you will have to give detailed instructions on where to place the bin and payment must be received before delivery.
What happens if no longer want a skip after I have booked for a delivery?
You are entitled to cancel or change your order prior to delivery of the bin but you must inform us at least 48 hours before dispatch otherwise call out fee will apply.
What happens if the skip is picked up but it wasn’t completely full yet?
When you hire a skip bin you must specify the collection date. It will be collected anytime on or after that date unless you notify us. If driver finds a skip substantially empty then the driver will make attempts to have the customer contacted but ultimately will have the discretion to take the skip away. If the driver is turned away on arrival for any reason the customer will be charged for the additional trip.
